Great grub, delicious drinks and live music at foodies’ festival
+GREAT news for all those that like their bostin’ fittle – the Cosford Food Festival is back at the RAF Museum Midlands on July 23-24.
The festival weekend will be packed full of artisan food stalls, street food and drink, accompanied by an exciting programme of live music and family entertainment.
The street food line-up will tempt foodies with a diverse menu of flavours from around the world, to be enjoyed alongside a glass of fizz or a summer cocktail from one of the many bars. Ice creams and epic desserts are guaranteed to satisfy those with a sweet tooth.
A bustling food market full of award-winning local food and drink will be available for festival goers to sample and buy. Many popular stallholders are returning to the festival, alongside new exhibitors, selling everything from cheese, wine, and bread, to pies, cakes, and preserves, with more than 100 producers in total.
Some of the region’s top chefs will be appearing live on the demo stage cooking speciality dishes and sharing their years of experience. Festival goers can also enjoy live performances from bands and acoustic performers playing throughout the day on the music stage. A range of children’s activities will keep the little ones entertained, including wartime cookery classes, circus skills, face painting, storytelling, and sand art.
The Cosford Food Festival is offering rum and whisky fans an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a unique tasting experience on board the VC10 aircraft. During this lighthearted
and fun 45-minute masterclass, attendees will enjoy four samples and learn more about these exquisite spirits.
