Sally snaps the Queen’s Baton on its way through the Black Country
WITH the whole region still in the grip of sporting fervour, it seems a long time now since the Queen’s Baton passed through the region, heralding the Commonwealth Games’ impending arrival.
But here are some fine photographs from local photographer Sally
Shillingford, who was on hand to record the moment the baton passed through Wordsley on its way to Birmingham. You will almost certainly have seen some of Sally’s work on the BBC and ITV local weather reports, and on occasion on the national bulletins – as well as in the Bugle, of course.
