TO DO LIST
Take a few photos of beds and borders that you feel need some work while they are at their peak. This way you can remember how they looked when it’s time to move or divide overgrown plants, or do more major replanting in autumn or early next spring.
Make a last sowing of lettuce such as little gem, pak choi and radish, as long as you can keep them adequately watered.
Snap off any yellow leaves at the base of tomato plants.
Make the most of the holiday season to visit gardens and gather ideas. Keep a camera, mobile phone or notebook and pencil handy.
