A Beautiful Night

- By Mick Morris

The stars that shine so brightly Up in the heavenly sky Lighting up the universe And clouds just passing by Moonbeams shining down From an orange full moon Heralding the night After a beautiful day in June A million shadows dance Silhouetted from the trees As they move so gently Upon a gentle breeze

Night time is so beautiful As through my window panes As I lie in bed My consciousness drains Soon I’ll be asleep Once more after a tiring day But the magic of the night time Just will not go away So I admire the beauty Of the stars that shine so bright Until I fall asleep On this wonderful summer’s night
