Any breaks from the visitors were being snuffed out by aggressive tackling and steals from the likes of Fraser Maxwell, which led to the score being 41-0 at half-time.
After the break, a strong scrum and lineout gave a good platform for the set plays to be ran, which will stand Blair in good stead for the season.
Two more tries were scored through Liam McLaren and Fin Ormiston during the third quarter, a period which saw temperatures begin to rise on occasion
Blair were 51 points to the good by the time the final quarter began.
Murray Ormiston made his senior debut and his stern tackling and great vision from 10 made an instant impact.
He would go on to link well with Grant Knowles, who finished off an excellent move orchestrated by the backs.
After a couple of poor discipline incidents, Stobswell got to within five metres of the Blair try line and earned themselves a scrum.
Despite the pressure, the Blair forwards were up to the challenge and won the scrum against the head before clearing the danger.
Blair were camped in the opposition’s half for most of the quarter and two further tries were scored through Grant Knowles and Fraser Bissett for a thoroughly deserved win.
