Fundraising partnership pays dividends for Blair
Generous staff and customers at the TSB in Blairgowrie and Coupar Angus have raised an impressive £1709 for the Blairgowrie and District Freedom Coach Association since January last year.
The fundraising has been part of the bank’s local charity partnership with the association which has seen staff at the two branches of the bank organise numerous fundraising events such as cake sales, raffles, hikes, cycle events and a sponsored walk .
TSB’s new charity partnerships are due to begin this month and local branch staff wanted to thank the Freedom Coach Association for the fantastic work it does within the community.
Alison Knight, bank manager for TSB Blairgowrie and Coupar Angus, said:“Our local charity partnership programme is all about working in partnership to help support the local causes that are the lifeblood of many communities across Britain.
“It’s been fantastic to support Blairgowrie and District Freedom Coach Association which is close to our hearts here in the Blairgowrie area and everyone working here has found our partnership really rewarding.”
Charles Bisset from the Freedom Coach Association said:“It’s been great to work in partnership with TSB.
“Their support has had a really positive impact on our charity and the work we do here in Blairgowrie and the surrounding district. The £1,709 we’ve raised together is being used to keep the vehicle serviced and on the road for the next two to three years. We’ve never had a donation of this amount before. It’s fantastic!”
