Girls show their goal power at footie fest
More than 200 talented young football players attended a winter football festival for girls in Blairgowrie on Saturday.
Held at the pitches on Piggy Lane used by Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Football Club (BRCFC), the festival was organised by the Scottish Football Association and saw 16 teams from across Tayside and Fife descend on the town.
Sam Milne, girls and women’s club development officer for the Scottish Football Association, was delighted with the success of the event.
