Police appeal aftercars damaged

Police in east Perthshire are appealing for witnesses after a number of cars were vandalised in recent weeks.

In Blairgowri­e two cars were vandalised sometime between 6pm on Tuesday, January 3, and 2pm on Wednesday, January 4.

A large letter ‘W’ was scratched onto the bonnet of a black Vauxhall Astra in Grant Crescent and a similar letter ‘W,’ around eight inches in size, was found scratched onto the front passenger door of a black Vauxhall Astra in Jessie Street.

Meanwhile, overnight on December 29, a silver Subaru Legacy had its windscreen wipers vandalised while parked in Alexandra Street, Alyth.

And around 2.45pm on December 31, a green Peugeot 206 suffered accidental damage, caused by another vehicle, while it was parked in Causewayen­d, Coupar Angus.
