Blockbusters lined up for Strathmore Screen
Community cinema group Strathmore Screen has announced a bumper screening of three films on Sunday, March 5.
‘La La Land’, ‘Sing’ and ‘T2 Trainspotting’ will grace the screen at Blairgowrie Town Hall at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm respectively.
‘La La Land’, which features Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, won seven awards at the Golden Globes this month and is hotly-tipped for success in this year’s Academy Awards.
Computed-animated musical comedy ‘Sing’ boasts a stellar cast while ‘T2: Trainspotting’ reunites original cast members 21 years after the first film.
This month’s film showings are ‘Moana’ (PG) and ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ at Blairgowrie Town Hall this Sunday, January 29.
Tickets for the films, which will be shown at 4pm and 7pm respectively, are on sale at Mitchell’s Newsagents and Calutek and cost £6.50 for adults, £5.50 concessions and £5 for children.
Family tickets are also available for one adult and up to three children or two adults and two children for £21.
Doors open 30 minutes before curtain up. Refreshments available.
