Outlaws back in the saddle

As remakes go, this rollicking ride saddles up on the right side of the quality scale.

The charismatic cast would be fun to share a drink in a saloon with and the script honours the beloved original.

But the overabundance of clichés becomes distracting and the 12 certificate results in a lack of truly searing, largely bloodless danger. An interesting spin on the zombie genre makes for a tough – but gripping – watch.
