to have been lost.
The ball was quickly passed along the back line from the ensuing scrum for Michael Grant to score in the corner. Souter converted, which reduced the visitors’lead to four points.
Strathendrick took the ball from the restart but some great work by the Blairgowrie back row allowed the home side to regain possession, driving their opponents back upfield to win a penalty.
It was quickly taken by Neil MacRae but knocked on by a Blairgowrie player.
The local lads were given another chance when a Strathendrick player was called offside and Blairgowrie were awarded another penalty.
In a nail-biting finish, everyone was waiting for the final whistle after at least five minutes of extra time had been played.
Then the Blairgowrie pack took control of the ball and drove over the line for Dave Malloch to touch down for a sensational try.
Souter’s successful conversion was quickly followed by the final whistle, much to the delight of the large Blairgowrie support.
