Summer coaching camp for kids in school holidays

A children’s summer tennis coaching camp will be held at Blairgowrie Tennis Club at the JJ Coupar Recreation Park during the school holidays.

The first coaching camp starts on Monday, July 10 and runs until Thursday, July 13.

There will be sessions for pre-school children from 9.30am to 10.30am.

For children aged five-years and up there will be three-hour sessions running from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Those taking part will learn all the basic skills to play tennis through fun games and matches.

There will also be a second course running from Monday, August 7 and Thursday, August 10.

This will involve classes for pre-school children aged between three and five years old from 9.30am to 10.30am, classes for five to seven-yearolds from 10.30am to 11.30am and for eight-yearolds and over between 11.30am and 1pm.

The prices for the pre-school sessions both weeks will be £15 for members and £20 non-members.

The three-hour, four day course in July is £42 for members and £48 for non-members.

The price for the sessions for the five to seven-year-olds in August is £15 for members and £20 for non-members, and the over-eights sessions are £20 for members and £25 for non-members.
