Kid­shave plen­tyof sum­mer ac­tiv­i­ties

Perth and Kin­ross Coun­cil’s child­care and fam­ily in­for­ma­tion ser­vice has com­piled a book­let giv­ing de­tails of ac­tiv­i­ties and events for chil­dren and fam­i­lies over the sum­mer hol­i­days.

Both in­door and out­door op­por­tu­ni­ties are on of­fer, cov­er­ing a wide range of in­ter­ests.

In Blair­gowrie, the Kids Club will be open Mon­days to Fri­days from 8am to 6pm for chil­dren from P1 to 14-year­sold.

There are a va­ri­ety of sin­gle­day and part-day op­tions in­clud­ing art work­shops, jew­ellery mak­ing and Lego build­ing as well as trips to Cam­per­down Park and Glas­gow Trans­port Mu­seum.

There are­also ac­tiv­i­ties at Wild Sparks in Alyth, as well as Live Ac­tive sports camps, ad­ven­ture camps and fun ses­sions.

While there is a charge for most ac­tiv­i­ties, there are also var­i­ous free events in­clud­ing Time2Play ses­sions in Rat­tray.
