Dull sequel limps along

More of the same as not even a change of director (James Foley) can add intrigue or passion to this limp erotic drama sequel.

Jamie Dornan looks slightly more comfortable but still lacks charisma and Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia seems to have lost her spark and steel.

Dull new characters and eye-rolling storylines amount to a tiresome watch. A daring and dark premise is followed through with style and tension in André Øvredal’s enjoyable horror-thriller.

Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch’s fatherand-son coroners get more than they bargained for with the latest arrival in their morgue. Uneasy moments mix with gore and mystery to create a memorably macabre whole.
