Kirsty wins Spoofing fundraiser
Blairgowrie RFC held its annual Spoofing charity night on Saturday.
Organised by club stalwart Duncan MacRae, the evening raised £818.40 for the ‘Doddie Weir’5 Trust’, which was recently established in response to the former Scotland international being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
The overall winner was Kirsty McLaren, who collected the trophy along with the £75 first prize from club president Stephen Souter. Gary Constable received the £25 runner-up prize.
A club spokesperson thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the night, including Moira Crilley-Orr for preparing the supper.
