Trial date set

An east Perthshire woman will face trial at Perth Sheriff Court on October 31, accused of attacking another woman in a Blairgowrie bar by striking her on the head with a glass.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in the Crown Bar on June 17 this year.

Amy Brown (22), of Coralbank Crescent, Rattray, had her bail continued following her latest court appearance.

She denied assaulting Tyler Davidson by punching her on the head with the glass and slapping her on the back. She is said to have pulled the other woman’s hair, whereby she fell to the floor, before scratching her on the body, all to her injury.
