Under-16s all set for action

Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Football Club’s U16 side are pictured receiving new tracksuit tops donated by local businessman Forbes Davidson, of the Subway sandwich shop in the town’s Wellmeadow.

The youth side thanked Mr Davidson for his support.

Meanwhile, selected local amateur football results for Saturday were as follows:

Division One - Letham 4, Balmoral Utd 0. Division Two - Bridgeton Utd v Kettins (postponed). Division Three - Scone Thistle 4, Rattray 7; Strathearn Grove 6, Blair Thistle 2; Wolfhill 0, Alyth 4. North of Tay Cup first round - Coupar Angus 0, Douglas Athletic 8; Pole Team 2, Burrelton Rovers 3.
