Last chance to vote

There is still time to vote for Blairgowrie-based enterprise support organisation GrowBiz in the Royal Bank of Scotland Skills and Opportunities Fund.

The deadline is noon on Friday, November 10.

The GrowBiz initiative which has been shortlisted for funding is the Care and Wellbeing Cooperative, which involves a 25-strong group of local enterprises delivering services.

The project aims to develop a network of self-employed carers, micro-businesses and social enterprises in rural Perthshire.

A spokesperson for Growbiz said: “We would provide specialist support and training to anyone interested in becoming a self-employed carer, microbusiness or social enterprise, particularly focusing on encouraging young people to get involved.”
