Community cinema group brings more popular films to Blairgowrie
The next film offerings from community cinema group Strathmore Screen have been announced.
The afternoon film on Sunday, November 26, will be The Lego Ninjago Movie (U) at 4pm, and the evening film at 7pm will be Breathe (12A).
The Lego Ninjago Movie is the third in the Lego Movie franchise and offers more of the same computer animated action comedy that has made its two predecessors so popular.
Breathe is a biographical film telling the story of Robin Cavendish, who became paralysed from the neck down by polio, aged 28. Robin, played by Andrew Garfield, was given just three months to live but became a pioneering advocate for disabled people. Claire Foy stars as his wife.
Both films will be screened at Blairgowrie Town Hall.
Tickets are on sale at Mitchell’s Newsagents on Blairgowrie High Street, at Calutek, or at the door, and are priced £6.50 for adults, £5.50 concessions and £5 for children.
Family tickets – for one adult and up to three children or two adults and two children – are £21.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to each film. Refreshments and home baking available.
