Cafe walkers
The Walkin’Cafe in Spittalfield has raised £163 for Children In Need.
Staff collected all their tips from November 8-12 for the charity and then a small group braved a cold Sunday morning to complete a four-mile walk around Spittalfield.
The cafe thanked everyone who donated to their fundraising efforts.

Kettins
Coffee morning A coffee morning in aid of the renal unit at Ninewells Hospital will be held in Kettins Parish Church hall from 10am to 11.30am on Saturday, November 18. Donations can be handed in to Margaret Johnstone or Eleanor Nicoll. For more information call Margaret on 01828 628353.

Church The service for Remembrance Sunday was conducted by Rev Peggy Ewart-Roberts. Organist was Janet Coyle and Norma Service read from Psalm 78 vv 1-7 and Thessalonians ch 4 vv 13-18. Rev Tom Tait led the Act of Remembrance and Ian Rae laid the wreath at the lych gate where a one-minute silence was observed. The Guild thanked everyone who supported their coffee morning, which raised £400. The Guild meets in the hall tomorrow (Thursday) at 7pm, when Rev Carmichael of Kinnoull Parish Church will give a talk on ‘Pakistan - A Country of Contrasts’. Sunday services are at 9.45am.
