It’s panto-time again!
Months of hard work and preparation culminated in a five-day run of the Blairgowrie Players’ production of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves last week.
The show - which featured a cast of nearly 40 local people of all ages - was performed at Blairgowrie Town Hall.
Hundreds of people throughout the week enjoyed all the traditional ingredients of a panto, including corny jokes, enthusiastic audience participation, dances, songs, local references and slapstick, and even a camel - everything you could need to brighten up a dreary winter’s evening.
