Primary schools around east Perthshire learned about the nativity and the traditional Christmas story for a variety of shows last week.

Younger pupils in Meigle Primary School performed The Landlord’s Cat, the story of the nativity through the eyes of a cat, while older children in the school sang Christmas songs for a delighted audience in Meigle Parish Church.

In Burrelton and Kirkmichael, pupils enjoyed performing‘ Bethlehem The Musical’.

And in Newhill Primary School, pupils from primary three performed their Christmas show, A Little Nativity (pictured here) for the rest of the school, staff, parents and grandparents in Blairgowrie Parish Church.

Burrelton Primary School pupils performed their Christmas show ‘Bethlehem The Musical’ last week.

Delighted audience members included parents, grandparents and carers who all enjoyed the performance.

The head teacher at the school gave a huge thank you to all of the parents, pupils and staff for their support for the production, which involved the whole school and was a great success.
