Blairgowrie community cinema group announces January films
January’s film offerings from community cinema group Strathmore Screen – the first of 2018 – have been announced as Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool.
The films will be shown in Blairgowrie Town Hall on Sunday, January 14 at 4pm and 7pm respectively.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (12A) is the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy and follows Rey as she receives Jedi training from Luke Skywalker in the hope of turning the tide for the resistance in the continued fight against Kylo Ren and the First Order.
Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool (15) stars Annette Bening, Jamie Bell and Julie Walters in the film adaption of Peter Turner’s memoir about his relationship with Hollywood actress Gloria Grahame in the last years of her life.
Tickets for both films are on sale from Mitchell’s Newsagents and Calutek, priced £6.50 for adults, £5.50 concessions and £5 for children.
Family tickets – for one adult and up to three children or two adults and two children – are £21. Home baking and refreshments will be available.
