Juniors readyfor a trip to Dundee
Blairgowrie Juniors will be hoping to kick-off the new year in style on Saturday.
The east Perthshire side are due to travel to Dundee to face Lochee Harp.
The match at Downfield Park is scheduled to start at 1.45pm, weather permitting.
Next up in the North Division schedule is an away tie against Kinnoull at Perth’s Tulloch Park on January 13.
Home fans will get the chance to see Mark Brash’s side in action at Davie Park for the first time in 2018 against Forfar Albion on January 20.
Meanwhile, the most recent numbers in the club’s berry-pickers’ weigh-in lottery draw were 2, 7, 17 and 20.
There were no winners, meaning the jackpot increases to £1600.
Owing to the festive period, the next draw takes place on Wednesday this week.
The draw will revert to its usual Monday evening slot the following week.
Elsewhere on the local junior football scene, Coupar Angus begin 2018 with a hat-trick of home fixtures.
Scone Thistle are the visitors to Foxhall Park on Saturday this week with a 1.45pm start.
The following week, Logan McConachie’s squad welcome Dundee Violet to the town before hosting Brechin Vics on January 20.
