Coupar Angus Primary prize-giving PUPILS ARE PRAISED FOR EFFORTS AND RESILIENCE
Coupar Angus Primary School held a virtual prize-giving for pupils last week.
Headteacher at the east Perthshire school, Nicola Drew, thanked all the children for their effort and achievements in what she described as having been“a very challenging year”and praised them for all their resilience and commitment during home learning.
Mrs Drew also thanked parents for teaching their children at home and their ongoing support, and the parent council for its support of the school.
She went on to thank staff at the school for their dedication this session and wished them all a “wonderful and restful break”.
Prizes were awarded to every class at the school and this year the House Shield was awarded to Cronan.
The ceremony finished with the primary seven leavers’videos, which showed the pupils of P7 over the years.
Mrs Drew said:“It was a lovely morning and we were delighted to be able to celebrate the pupils’ achievements this year.
“The primary sevens’videos made us all laugh and cry and we wish all of them the very best for the next step in their journey.
