Football club’s committee shake-up
Members of a sub-committee within Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Football Club (BRCFC) are hosting an extraordinary general meeting later this week.
It is due to take place from 7pm on Thursday, August 25, at Blairgowrie Town Hall.
The meeting is being held in the wake of three members of the sub-committee which deals with the youth football part of the club recently deciding to step down from their respective roles.
As a result, nominations for the roles of sub-group chair, vice-chair and secretary are now being sought. It is understood the five remaining members will remain on the sub-committee.
Sandy Thomson, chair of the BRCFC trustees, said:“All members and those interested in moving this section forward are invited to attend the meeting. Nominations for the positions of chair, vice-chair and secretary, which are all voluntary, can be sent to sandythomson1949@gmail.com.
“BRCFC is always keen to recruit volunteers to help the club continue to grow and develop football for players of all ages within Blairgowrie and Rattray.”
