Coffee fundraiser for Rotarians

-

Blairgowrie Rotarians held a successful coffee morning in Alyth’s Airlie Street Hall on Saturday, August 27.

The community-spirited effort was organised by Grant Findlay and his team, and was enhanced by a good number of members from the neighbouring Angus Glens club.

The generosity of those who attended has resulted in over £500 being added to Blairgowrie Rotary’s funds for community support.

The winner of the whisky competition was Kirriemuir’s Anne Delve, who correctly identified the whisky as Cardhu.

Christian Hill correctly named the cuddly

Care Bear teddy as‘Buttercup’.

In addition to home baking and other produce available to buy, Malcolm Davidson made some beautiful wooden shoehorns and bowls.
