Club rewards talented Junior cricketers
Meigle Cricket Club held their presentation of junior awards at Victory Park on Wednesday evening last week.
Awards were handed over by Peter Drummond jun – the club’s youth convener – and Charles Clark, club captain.
Among the prize-winners were Fielder of the Year Jamie Douglas and Calum McBain, who received the Bob Benzies Quaich for U13 Player of the Year.
Ava Bell received the Bowler of the Year award, while Sol Andrew was named U13 Batter of the Year.
