Football calledoff asmarkof respect
Junior football across Scotland was postponed on Saturday as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Blairgowrie were due to be in action at home to Broughty Athletic in the Quest Engineering Cup.
Mark Brash’s side will now host Forfar West End on Saturday this week.
The Midlands League tie is due to kick-off at 2.30pm at Davie Park.
Meanwhile, the September 5 berrypickers’ weigh-in lottery numbers were 8, 10, 18 and 19.
Elsewhere, Coupar Angus did not have a fixture prior to the matches being temporarily suspended.
Coupar’s next league fixture is set to be away against Dundee East Craigie on Saturday.
The Scottish Junior FA has asked clubs to observe a minute’s silence prior to matches kicking off.
