Diamond celebration

Last week’s Blairie featured congratulations to Blairgowrie couple Alisdair and Margaret Drummond on the occasion of their“golden wedding”.

Sharp-eyed readers would have noted from the date of their marriage – September 8, 1962 – that it was their diamond anniversary.

We apologise for this error and are happy to publish a correction.

The couple are pictured with a photograph on their wedding day and the card of congratulations they received from The Queen.
