Anniversary

The 30th anniversary of the official opening of Blairgowrie Recreation Centre was marked on September 22, 2012, with a reception attended by some of those who were at the opening, including the first manager, Iain Smith, and staff members Linda Crichton-Thomson and Alan Ramsay. A plaque at the centre shows that it was opened on Wednesday, September 22, 1982, by Brian Hooper, who was World Superstars Champion in 1981.
