Dementia Cafeopen dayevent nextweek

Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership is to hold the first Dementia Café awareness event in the Fair City in three years next week.

The monthly gathering will return on Wednesday, October 5, welcoming people with dementia, their family, care-givers and friends to a safe, welcoming environment.

Information, advice and support is available for those living with dementia and their carers at each session.

The awareness day event on October 5 will be open to the public from 10am to 12.30pm at the Dementia Café’s usual location – the North Church at 209 High Street, Perth.

Information stalls staffed by a range of organisations and services that can support people with dementia, their families and carers, will be at the event.

Free refreshments will also be available.
