Ian’s charity cash lodged with appeal
Ian Cameron from Newtyle was among 22 freemasons from across Scotland who raised nearly £50,000 while participating in a charity zip slide.
The funds will go towards the Grand Lodge of Scotland’s Make It A Million campaign, which aims to raise at least £1million for the charity Prostate Scotland.
The event, in Killiecrankie, was organised recently after the original date for the zip slide was postponed due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The line cuts through the trees and across the River Garry at heights of up to 30 metres, near the bungee platform which is also run by parent firm Highland Fling Bungee.
