Police patrols
Additional police patrols were carried out in Blairgowrie over Hallowe’en weekend.
Police Scotland has said officers could be seen in the town centre “in response to a recent increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in and around the Wellmeadow area.”
A spokesperson for the nationwide force said officers received a positive welcome from licensees and members of the public alike.
It is understood no arrests were made as a result of the project.
The police representative said officers will continue their patrols and visits to licensed premises in Blairgowrie “due to a positive response from the local community”.
