Christmas on cards at cuppa with fire crew

Blairgowrie-based firefighters have said that regular ‘Coffee with the crew’sessions are proving to be a success.

The doors to the station were opened to the local community for the first outing of the project on November 8, offering a warm place to enjoy a free tea or coffee, biscuits and a chat.

The third session is due to take place next week on Tuesday, December 13.

The Christmas-themed coffee morning takes place from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the West George Street station and is part of the crew’s efforts to tackle social isolation and food and fuel poverty in the area.

Free transport to the coffee morning is available from the Freedom Coach.
