ANTALYA WORLD CUP 2019

What is it?

Antalya is one of the four stages of the Hyundai Archery World Cup circuit. A city of two million people, it sees over ten million tourists a year. It is also the main training base for the Turkish national archery federation.

Can I join in?

Not directly. Entrants have to be sent by their national governing body. Check to see if you make the minimum qualifying scores for World Cups – self-funded places may be available for World Cups, depending.

Tell me something

Steeped in history, the city was conquered by the Romans around 130 BC, since then it has been part of the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. There are over 300 days of sunshine a year, but not too much wind, as the city is shielded by a mountain range. No wonder it is where the women's recurve ranking round record was shot last year.
