EASTON ARROWS: BASICS

There are three basic types of Easton shaft, and most of the other manufacturers use a similar process.

Carbon Composite/hybrid shafts: These shafts have a fine extruded hollow aluminium core with carbon fibre bonded to the outside to stiffen it up to the required spine rating.

Full Carbon Shafts: These are a 100% carbon fibre tube. Aluminium Shafts: These are 100% aviation-grade aluminium alloy, and are mostly now used for beginner arrows and arrows designed specifically for indoor use.
