JOHN DEMMER COMPLETES 'CLEAN SWEEP' OF BAREBOW RECORDS

The USA'S John Demmer III now holds the world record in all extant recognised categories for senior barebow men: the 25m 60-arrow round, the 18m 60-arrow round, and the 72 arrow 50 metre and double 50 metre round. Demmer completed the 'set' by shooting a 571/600 indoor 18m round at the US indoor nationals competition in Harrisonburg, Virginia on 26 March.

With characteristic humility, he said: "Probably won't keep any of them for much longer, but it was a pretty cool run. Looking forward to others smashing these babies."
