“During lockdown, I was able to continue shooting at a shorter 5m range until things eased, which allowed me to keep my strength up. As a result, I have been able to increase my poundage, as well as add on some extra ounces on the front and back stabiliser in time to get back to normal competitions. I don’t use anything additional/special, but I do think it’s very important to keep track of your equipment and to make sure that it is all working at its optimum. Archers should regularly get their set- up checked and to strive for perfection and accuracy with their equipment so they know that it’s exactly where it needs to be to for competitions."
