LANCASTER OPENS FOR REGISTRATION WITH NEW 12-RING TARGET

-

Registration is open for the eastern USA’S largest indoor archery tournament, scheduled for 27-30 January 2022 at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pennsylvania.

More than 2,000 archers attended the 2020 competition. Renowned for its 11-point scoring system – which awards 11 points for centre X-ring hits – this year, archers who make it to the shootup finals will shoot at a new target that includes a high-risk, high-reward 12-point ring.

The 12-ring will measure 1.5cm across and it will be positioned at six o’clock, below the gold area on the line separating the seven-point ring from the eight-point ring. Three-spot targets will feature one 12-ring on each spot, while single-face targets will feature just one. Archers must call the 12-ring in order for it to be in play, and they can only call for it and shoot at it once per end.

The Lancaster finals will be broadcast live on the internet. For more details visit lancasterarcheryclassic.com
