WHAT IS IT?
The senior outdoor
World Youth Championships, is a biannual competition mostly held in alternate years since 1950, prior to that it was an annual contest dating back to 1931, with a break in the war years. It is the most prestigious international archery tournament after the Olympic Games. The next edition will be in Berlin in 2023.

TELL ME SOMETHING
The last archer to defend a world title and win back to back was Albina Loginova in 2011 in Turin, defending her 2009 title won in Ulsan. Hans Duetgen of Sweden, however, won four men's recurve titles on the trot from 1947-1950.
