SELL MY BOW LAUNCHED

-

A new online platform for buying and selling archery gear has been launched.

Sell My Bow was developed by Bow contributor and 2010 Commonwealth Games champion Duncan Busby, who was frustrated both at the high fees for platforms such as ebay and problems with selling via other methods online.

There are multiple groups for selling archery kit on sites such as Facebook, but due to the platform’s policy on ‘weapons’, most posts selling archery equipment now have to be creatively renamed.

Despite all this, archery has a supportive and sociable community with a thriving second-hand market, and its lack of a dedicated marketplace has been felt for some time – until now. Sell My Bow is designed to be exceptionally userfriendly and with an international reach, and has no joining fee and a fee of just £1 to list an item for sale, without charging commission. It also includes a lost, found and stolen page for archers missing equipment, and also allows merchants to move on end-of-line stock.
