From: London Age: 19 Height: 6ft 4 1/2ins Weight: 224lbs Record: 3-0 (3)

TEAM GB coaches were left hugely disappointed by the Londoner’s decision to turn pro this year.

Richie Woodhall reckoned Dubois had “the best jab in Sheffield” and the hope was he could push Frazer Clarke in the build up to the Tokyo Olympics. Dubois has taken a different path and by 2020, promoter Warren reckons he could hold a version of the world heavyweight championship.

Dubois was a good junior, boxing in two European Youth championships, but only had six senior bouts before turning pro.

He won gold at the Tammer tournament and in his last amateur bout, he outpointed Solomon Dacres in the Great Britain championship final in Sheffield last December.

Dacres said Dubois “stopped me setting anything up with his jab. He has a good jab and good power. He will get some knockouts in the pros.”

Trained by Martin Bowers at the Peacock Gym, Dubois has knocked out his first three: Badly overmatched Marcus Kelly lasted only 35 seconds; Dubois jumped up through the gears quickly to blast out ex-olympian Blaise Mendouo with a 20-punch salvo, before the towering but vulnerable David Howe was predictably blown away by a right hand piledriver.
