WHO WINS THE WORLD BOXING SUPER SERIES SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT FINAL?

I predicted Callum would win it at the start. Groves is very difficult to beat but I think the history of Groves beating Paul (Smith) will give Callum the extra needed to win a tight points decision. Groves has experience; Callum has youth and the added incentive of family revenge.

It’s a real 50/50 but I’m leaning very slightly towards Groves due to his experience at top level. Smith is awkward, has very good movement, can punch and will present Groves with problems. The bookies are favouring Groves more strongly than I think they should, but I think he has the stronger case.

It’s great that Groves has been cleared to box. I think it’s a tricky fight with a lot of technical ability on show from both fighters. I could see each fighter hitting the canvas at some point but I’m going to pick Smith by close decision. I think his youth and freshness will play a big part over the distance.

Groves for me, on points. But that shoulder must be right. It’s good for Groves that he will have had seven months to rehabilitate since the dislocation against Eubank Jnr. Groves-smith is the fight for Callum to really step up, but I feel Groves, if he is on point, should take a close decision.
