WHAT SORT OF CHANCE DO YOU GIVE TONY BELLEW OF DEFEATING OLEKSANDR USYK?

I do give Bellew a decent chance. I don’t think Usyk has fought many men as hungry and determined as Tony is to prove the doubters wrong. Most thought Bellew was going to get beaten by David Haye the first time. It’s down to him to prove them people wrong again.

I never fancied him to beat Haye first time, so you can’t totally write him off. Usyk is technically superior to 90 per cent of fighters on Earth. I highly rate him. Tony will need a knockout. It’s unlikely, but his pet shot, the left hook against a southpaw, gives him a puncher’s chance.

Only a slim one but he’s proven before that’s all he needs. Usyk may go down as the greatest cruiserweight ever but anyone still writing Bellew off after all these years needs their head examined. He’s one of the few out there who could somehow find a way to win what seems an unwinnable fight.

Everybody wrote Bellew off before the Haye fights and he proved them wrong – me included! I don’t want to make the same mistake again, but I have to pick Usyk. I think this fight is a step too far. If Bellew can land on him, he will have a puncher’s chance, but I can’t see Usyk losing any time soon.
