Three-year deal for PBC ghts to ap­pear on British screens in place

IT was an­nounced on Tues­day (De­cem­ber 11) that ITV will be the ex­clu­sive UK tele­vi­sion broad­caster for Al Haymon’s Pre­mier Box­ing Cham­pi­ons events for the next three years.

PBC can boast 160 fight­ers on their books and the deal will guar­an­tee at least 15 fights per year. They co-hosted the re­cent Deon­tay Wilder-tyson Fury bout and have Manny Pac­quiao-adrien Broner and Er­rol Spence-mikey Gar­cia, among others, al­ready lined up for 2019.

“This un­prece­dented deal be­tween PBC and ITV is great news for box­ing fans in the UK. We look for­ward to bring­ing view­ers big events and su­perb ac­tion from some of the world’s best fight­ers in the com­ing years,” said Niall Sloane, ITV Di­rec­tor of Sport.

The ac­tion will be broad­cast across sev­eral ITV plat­forms, in­clud­ing ITV, ITV 4, ITV Hub and ITV Box Of­fice.
