ITV AND HAYMON HOOK UP
Three-year deal for PBC ghts to appear on British screens in place
IT was announced on Tuesday (December 11) that ITV will be the exclusive UK television broadcaster for Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions events for the next three years.
PBC can boast 160 fighters on their books and the deal will guarantee at least 15 fights per year. They co-hosted the recent Deontay Wilder-tyson Fury bout and have Manny Pacquiao-adrien Broner and Errol Spence-mikey Garcia, among others, already lined up for 2019.
“This unprecedented deal between PBC and ITV is great news for boxing fans in the UK. We look forward to bringing viewers big events and superb action from some of the world’s best fighters in the coming years,” said Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport.
The action will be broadcast across several ITV platforms, including ITV, ITV 4, ITV Hub and ITV Box Office.
