WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE BOXING MOMENT OF 2018?
Luke Watkins
Cruiserweight contender
Tyson Fury’s comeback. I’ve been a huge Fury fan from the start of his career, and to go through what he’s been through and climb back to the top of the mountain is incredible.
Nigel Wright
Former English champ
My favourite boxing moment of 2018 was my daughter, Mia Wright, becoming the England boxing schools champion – a very proud moment for all the family. Professionally, I would go with Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Jorge Linares. Two world-class fighters putting it on the line.
Brian Magee
Former EBU champ
I’d have to say Tony Bellew’s second fight with David Haye. Bellew going out there and shocking the nation for a second time was great.
Andy Clarke
Boxing commentator
Tyson Fury hauling himself off the canvas and rising like a phoenix from the ashes in the final round against Deontay Wilder. That and Wilder’s curtailed celebration and look of utter incredulity when he saw it happening.
