Paul performs well on Harwich home show
HARWICH boxing club held their home show at Colchester United football club on January 18. The event also hosted five Youth and Cadet Eastern Counties semifinals. Owen Bollingbroke from Attleborough ABC will be one to look out for as he forced two standing eight counts in the opener to take a stoppage win over the less experienced Sevgen Gumas from Ipswich ABC in their Eastern Counties Youth 60kgs semi-final.
Pick of the Harwich competitors was Elite boxer Paul Gordon, who selected his shots well in the opening two rounds against Essex University’s Vernon Henry. In the last round Paul opened up with 15 shot salvo to force a standing eight count and cap an impressive unanimous points win.
