BOXING ON THE BOX
With the sport taking another enforced break some of these might be of interest

Chuck Wepner has been the inspiration for several films and The Brawler, a 2018 flick, is unquestionably the worst of the lot. But Chuck will no doubt be pleased with being cast as a chiselled heartthrob with a thick hairline and, if you don’t take it too seriously (the general rule when watching any boxing movie), this might put a smile on your face now and again; particularly the performance of the actor who plays Sylvester Stallone.
BBC IPLAYER
The Boxer is a fly-on-the-wall documentary that follows Kristin Fraser, the first Scottish female professional boxer, as she strives for acceptance and progress in the sport.
DAZN
There have been mixed reviews for DAZN since they landed on UK shores at the end of last year. But it’s clear they are, for now at least, committed to upping their boxing content. There are weekly podcasts and shows of varying quality and knowledge but there are some big-name exclusive interviews to peruse in their archives alongside fighter profiles. Worth keeping an eye on in 2021.
AMAZON
Amazon Prime has a slew of boxing films and documentaries if you search hard enough. Some are woeful. Others are interesting, like The 5th King – Iran
‘The Blade’ Barkley. Made on a shoestring budget, the production values leave a lot to be desired but there’s some solid interviews with Barkley, his opponents and several other notable talking heads.
