FULTON-INOUE AN ABSOLUTE TREAT
WHO cares if Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk don't do the right thing and fight each other? Not me, particularly now I have Naoya Inoue versus Stephen Fulton Jnr to look forward to. Two fighters doing things in exactly the right way, showing no fear nor ego, and actively seeking out the toughest challenge available. Bravo! Darren Scott
IMPOSSIBLE TO PROVE
THE stink created by the Conor Benn saga will, I fear, be around for some time to come. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry after reading last week's excellent editorial. The image of a boxer having to film himself taking an illegal substance for any subsequent action to be brought against them did raise a smile.
The serious point of course is a huge concern for the entire future of our sport. The testing for banned substances is vital but how to act on the results remains a problem and who should be responsible for doing so? Crucially, if it has to be proven beyond doubt that a boxer has taken an illegal substance freely and deliberately before any action can be taken, this surely gives any boxer almost free license to take practically anything. The possible results of this in the ring could be fatal.
Tim Farmer WHO WAS BENN SPARRING?
I LOVE the podcast. My son and I listen every week while we're on our way to the boxing gym. We have listened to the coverage of the Conor Benn saga and have a question. Who was he sparring, round after round, at the same time that he was failing drug tests?

SOME SYMPATHY FOR CONOR
WHILE watching Conor Benn get interviewed by Piers Morgan I felt sympathy for him. If he knowingly took performance enhancing drugs, the weight of screwing up will be a heavy load for his conscience to carry. And if he didn't, well, the frustration at not being able to get his point across must also be excruciating.
It was hard, however, to disagree with Morgan when he urged Benn to go down the right channels to prove his innocence. Irrespective of what happened, I hope Conor can one day soon move on from this; the longer it lingers, the more we should fear for his mental health.

NOTHING S**TTY ABOUT AIRDRIE
I READ with interest the story on Martin Bakole and Billy Nelson by Elliot Worsell (BN, February 23). I was not impressed with the comment about Airdrie in Scotland being "a wee shitty village". Airdrie is actually a very nice town, outside Glasgow.
